Safety Measure for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung has already launched its newest Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and it is up for pre-orders. The release of this device in the market will happen in September and you are encouraged to have it because of the offers that the company has to its Note 8 users.
We all know about the explosion that has happened in the previous model, Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It was a terrible debacle and the company has tried so hard in its efforts to actually release a new model of the Note series that doesn’t catch fire while it is in use. The company has lost billions for the previous Note 7 and now is the perfect comeback that they need.
Together with their financial loss, Samsung also somehow lost the trust of its consumers for what has happened. And now, they have become more careful about the safety measure for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In fact, they have undergone a lot of critical battery tests in order to make sure that Note 8 can actually cater the needs of its users without having to cause any disappointments on its safety issues.
In fact, in order to prevent the Note 7 incident from ever happening again, especially on its comeback device, the Note 8, it ran an eight-point battery check. This is after they have actually found out, with evidence to support that what really happened a year ago was due to the error in the battery used. This is the reason why the company has focused on Note 8's battery in this year's release.
Visual Inspection.
Visual inspection is the first point that has been check with the Note 8 battery. This is where the experts look at each of the batteries in test and figure out which one has passed the enhanced set of standards.
The company has experimented a lot of batteries in order to make sure that at least one of them may be used for the Note 8 without causing disappointments in the safety precautions.
X-ray Test.
This is the second point in the test for security and safety for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 battery. This is where the engineers take a good look at the insides of the batteries in order to detect any error or abnormalities that might cause the battery to not function well.
This test is definitely accurate especially that you cannot care less on the safety of the chemicals that comprise your phone's battery.
Charge/Discharge Test.
This test is the third point already and as the stages accelerate, the deeper are the experts digging through the batteries in order to make safety a priority.
What happens in this test is that it charges the Note 8 battery from 0 to 100 percent and then drained. After being drained, it is being charged again.
Admittedly, this can also be done in real life. There are times when you unintentionally drain the battery and then charge it back to a hundred percent. Although, it may even be overcharged sometimes. The company has already caught this kind of behaviour and they have already tested the battery for this to make sure that it can actually survive such use.
TVOC Test.
TVOC means Total Volatile Organic Compounds. This is the fourth point of the test and this is necessary in order to determine whether the device or its battery has any leaks.
Leaks in batteries and/or devices can be fatal especially when it is being used in rigid schedules. The chemical that leaks from the device or battery can actually harm the user whether it is being inhaled or in physical contact with the skin. This is the very reason why this has to be tested too.
Disassembling Test.
It is totally not uncommon for a phone to get disassembled when it is released in the market and into the hands of its users. In fact, if the device requires repair for a long time use, it is disassembled in order to replace parts that might have been damaged.
In this test though, the experts take the battery apart from the device in order to fully evaluate its quality and to make sure that it can last long enough for the users to have as much fun as they want with the device.
Accelerated Usage Test.
Accelerated Usage Test is the sixth point of the battery test where the experts try to push the battery usage to its limits. In order to do this, they have prepared simulated scenarios where the Note 8 battery is exposed to too much work and they try to figure out if there is any damage with it.
In real life, this also happens as you actually want to turn the device back on even after it has been automatically shut down due to low battery. Whether it is due to emergency or boredom, you actually tend to do this on your previous devices so this has also been tested on Note 8 to prevent any damages on its use.
OCV Test.
OCV means Open Circuit Voltage and this test is undergone on its seventh point. This is where the experts actually check on the voltage during the phone's production to the end. This is to make sure that the same amount of electricity is being used and that there is no harm in using the Note 8 battery. This test is actually to determine whether there is going to be a problem with the use of this battery on the Note 8 device.
Durability Test.
This is actually the final test for Note 8's battery. As overcharging is actually realistic in all sense, this has been tested in the battery to make sure that it can endure such thing. Aside from that, nail punctures and extreme temperatures are also tested.
You may not realize it now but when you use your other devices, they actually heat up especially with a prolonged use. This might actually cause an explosion on your device's battery but since Note 8 has been tested with this, you can actually make sure that it can actually last long.
These are the safety measures for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. You can make sure that it has been made with high-quality in order to prevent the incident that has caused much for the company and for you as well. Although the company is still deciding on whether to offer some discount on the thousands of Australians who have been able to purchase the Note 7 in the previous year, it is worth noting that Note 8 has been enhanced well.
However, the exteriors of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may not be safe from the dirt and stains that are possible to have through daily use. This is why you should also consider having some protections for it that are durable without compromising the style that you want. Here are some suggestions for you.
